Successful mission to capture injured otter

Last year The Otter Network was involved in a successful joint operation to rescue an otter that was seen in South and North Tyneside with fishing line wrapped around its body. Full story here.

Annual Otter Survey

The 2022 Spring Otter Survey took place over the weekend of 23rd/24th April. This was the 10th survey and the data from the survey have now been processed. The report can be found on the Annual Survey page. Thanks again to all who took part.

When completing survey work so many of you expressed an interest in what we were doing that we decided to create this platform where you could find out more and get involved.
